Liz is a native of Lafayette and graduated from Louisiana State University Summa Cum Laude and received her B.A. in English Literature in 2008. In 2011 Liz would go on to earn her Juris Doctor and Diploma in Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. Liz focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense litigation, representing physicians, physician’s assistants, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals, as well as medical facilities and clinics.
Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Liz worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Ronald F. Ware of the 14th Judicial District Court in Lake Charles until 2012 when she joined the law firm of Fraser, Wheeler, Bergstedt & Courtney, L.L.P. in Lake Charles. A native of Lafayette, Liz is married to Tom Shea. She enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga and Pilates and watching LSU football.
